How to write a blog post that can attract more users towards a website?

Blogging has always been and will always be the best way to rank higher on search engine and make money.

But many people in the beginning of their blogging career don’t do it right and in return they have to go for months and months to rank higher on search engine.

A perfect Blog Post consists of the following key points that need to be addressed

1: Use of the right keyword (Long Tail OR Simple Compound Keywords)

Keywords are the backbone of every blog. 

These are certain set of words and sentences that are used to create a topic and a post. 

You can say that they are the words that make a blog.

So using the right keyword which has the right amount of traffic is necessary because if not then writing a blog is of no use. Because ultimately it won’t generate any traffic.

2: The right size of the content ( How many words are required).

By the size of content we mean “Number of Words”.

An average Blog post should have at least 300 words and at max 2000 words. 

You might be thinking why we have stated the maximum number?

Because people are going away from reading by every passing day. 

By the advent of mobile phones, tablets and internet people are becoming lazy and want everything to happen itself. 

This is the reason they don’t like to read anymore. 2000 words for a blog would be enough for them to read. 

3: Does the post have both internal and external links?

Internal links are the links that refer to another blog that is on your website

External links refer to someone else’s blog post (also known as backlink)

Make sure that you have added these links because these are the requirements as per the guidance given by Google. 

4: Is the Blog Post optimized?

By optimization we mean “Is the post optimized according to the targeted keyword”

Targeted keyword needs to be in the body section, headings, title, meta description and slug of the post. 

It is necessary, because without this the post would not be optimized. 

5: Is the post addressing a topic everyone wants to know about?

Answering the user’s query and adding VALUE into their lives is all what marketing means. 

If you are not answering to someone’s query, then there is no need to write a blog post. 

Blogging has changed now. 

What used to work doesn’t work now. 

You need to add VALUE into people’s lives only then you will be able to earn through blogging. 

6: Using a long tail keyword.

Long tail keywords can also be described as sentences. 

For Example:

I want to write a post on SEO.

There are two ways I can use this keyword.

One way is to write it the same way as it is i.e “SEO”

Second way which is the most beneficial is reshaping it in the form of a long sentence that has a question in it i.e “Is SEO essential for a business to become a brand”

It adds more VALUE into it and honestly makes more sense.

7: Using natural language variations of the long tail keyword.

After deciding the keyword, it is necessary to use the keyword in different variations.

Don’t use it too much. 

Otherwise it will go in spam. 

Try to use it 7 to 8 times in a post with 1200 words. 

8: Does the image include ALT Text?

ALT Texts are the text that appear on the images when they donot load properly. 

Make sure that ALT Text of the images are set.

And those texts have the keyword or synonym of the targeted keyword in it.

9: Is the blog post promoting the content? (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest).

Social media is the present and future of marketing. 

People are highly influenced by the power of social media and like to share things that they like with others on their social networking profiles. 

Adding social links at the end of your blog is necessary. 

This will encourage the user to share your blog with others and in return others will know more about your business.
